5AA Hour with Sean Perry, May 24th

This week I had my first big stint on the radio. It was incredibly daunting as I had no idea what to expect, but after a trial by fire, I think I'll be more prepared for the next show I do. I was on 5AA with Sean Perry for an hour on Sunday from 6:30pm (right at the start of his show) and discussed GLAM Adelaide, the GLAMzine and all sorts of events that are happening around Adelaide. I've broken it down into segments so that people can find the bits that may interest them. Segment one discussed GLAM Adelaide, the GLAMzine, The Clothing Exchange, the Pink concerts, the Lady Daly Hotel, Radelaide and Heaps Good.

Chasing Nel Fashion Parade

Come along to this fabulous fashion parade that I'll be hosting in late June. We'll be raising funds for the Salvation Army and enjoy the great designer gear from Chasing Nel. Always hard to decide what to wear when attending an event like this though. Don't want to be too drab when surrounded by fashionistas and models. Hmmmm.

Success!

Well yesterday's CARA funaraising gig in Rundle Mall went really well. There were a stack of Adelaide celebs (or at least 'personalities') lending their lips to the good cause. I tried my best to make a well shaped kiss mark on the canvas, but some of the Finesse models proved I had some work to do. There was a moment of drama however, when singer Amity Dry's handbag went missing from the table. Turns out her hubby had taken it for safe keeping! Just goes to show that nothing is ever safe when left unattended. Reminds me of the time someone swiped my leather Oroton jacket from a bar from right under my nose. Still ticked off about that one.

Next Gen Update - Great News for Members

You may be familiar with some issues I had with suspending my membership at Next Generation Memorial Drive. Although it did take some time, they did agree to suspend my membership whilst I was away in the States. I have met with them since I have been back to share my frustrations and they have now told me that having reviewed their policies, members will be able to suspend their membership for any reason, for a minimum of three months from June onwards.

It’s good that Adelaide’s best gym has now listened to their members and made the changes they needed and I’m pleased to be able to go back to using the gym (especially now that my 30th is right around the corner!). I’ve even found myself a new gym buddy (the inspirational Ania) so wish me luck, it’s time for me to get back on the wagon.
